ABOUT THE BOOKS
There are three books:
Student Reader- 29 pages. All children love hearing about prehistoric times! Some of the creatures known to exist at that time are encountered by the children and pictured in the book. The authors had assistance from the museum in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada.
Student Creative Writing Workbook- 35 pages, including a glossary. In this book you will find may written exercises for the students, and outlines for planning and writing short paragraphs. There are match the meaning exercises for vocabulary drill and cloze exercises to encourage the students' comprehension. Most popular are the numerous Bingo games.
Teacher's Guide - 13 pages There are some Teacher Reference Notes to give the teacher some background information about the Permian Epoch, so that the children's questions about conditions at that time may be answered. The Teacher's Guide contains all of the answers to the questions found in the Creative Writing Workbook. There are suggestions for the teacher to use when the students are starting their writing projects, so that the teacher can guide them through the exercises.
