Two teen agers visit Gold Island for a holiday with their Aunt and Uncle. There are stories that the island was once a hiding place for pirates, and that there is gold hidden there. The teens find what they think is a code, and a map. In searching for the gold they have lots of excitement and finally, an unexpected result.

ABOUT THE BOOKS

There are three books:

Student Reader- 27 pages, . Join the kids in their search for pirates' gold.

 

Student Creative Writing Workbook- 30 pages. The workbook has many written exercises. There are crossword puzzles, match the meaning exercises, and word order exercises. The students are often asked to write short paragraphs or sentences, sometimes about drawings that they have made. They love the Bingo games.

Teacher's Guide - 16 pages, including a glossary. The Teacher's Guide contains all of the answers to the questions found in the Creative Writing Workbook. There are suggestions for the teacher to use to help the students get started with their writing.
