this third edition of Learning English With Laughter’s ESL Curriculum it is our
goal to reflect people of many cultures. As this is an English Second Language

MODULE 2 PART 2 IN COLOR: - Learning English with Laughter - Curriculum for High Beginners, Third Edition: Student Reader, Workbook and Teacher’s Guide.
In this third edition of Learning English with Laughter’s ESL Curriculum it is our goal to reflect people of many cultures. As this is an English Second Language series the main characters need to have English names. In order to meet our goal of presenting an international updated series we have included some new lessons with international names and colorful pictures.
This Teen-adult series has four Modules of ready to use ESL textbooks.
These English second language high beginners’ textbooks are for students aged 13 years and older. The Student Reader has 47 pages for 20 lessons of approximately 90 minutes each, the Workbook has 52 pages that include a glossary while the Teacher’s Guide has 72 pages that provide Oral Questions, activities, answers to all questions, 4 Unit tests plus a Final Test with answers. These three provide a total of 190 pages.
ESL Grammar concepts are reinforced sequentially. The vocabulary sequence and grammar are based on the original series. The online version is being used in more than 80 countries.

Module 3 - Part 2: promotes listening, understanding, reading and writing. The set includes a Student Reader (31 pages) of Lessons 21 to 40, Student Workbook (70 pages) and Teacher’s Guide (70 pages). This textbook includes articles about famous people and historical events. It also prepares the students for basic life experiences such as seeing a doctor and getting a prescription from a pharmacy. There are many additional activities in the Teacher's Guide plus answers to all questions, 4 Unit Tests and a Final Test.

Module 4 – Part 1: This set includes a Student Reader Student (52 pages), Workbook (69 pages) and a Teacher’s Guide (64 pages) that include conversational activities, 4 Unit Tests and a Mid-Term Test. The students will discuss questions regarding the Olympic Games and read about historic events and festivals. It reviews many of the more difficult points of grammar and offers the students practice in understanding more advanced articles and short stories such as they will encounter in the IELTS, the TOEFL, and TOEIC exams. They will read stories by O'Henry and enjoy the drama of building the pass through the Rocky Mountains. It continues to extend the English language experience of the students and familiarizes them with the question types found on the IELTS, the TOEFL, and TOEIC exams but it is not intended as a complete the preparation for these exams.
